Safari on Windows: See a Leopard?

It doesn’t quite make it to the big three, but, aren’t leopards worth going on a safari? I contend they are. Then there is the YouTube fare which showed a herd of buffaloes ganging-up on a pride of lions (lionesses, I should say) and an odd aquatic couple who lost very early in the game - that makes buffaloes contenders for qualifying among the big four, should the list be expanded. Big four, however, brings up unrequited memories of those goons in the “let us audit your arse and advise your head” game - the limited liability prats - and should, therefore, strictly be avoided. So, apologies, buffaloes, big three it is!
That brings us nicely to the Safari story as being narrated to great effect by Steve “I Am Back” Jobs. This MacOS special is now available on Windows and if you haven’t heard it already or seen the cheeky Apple WWDC intro, remember, you heard it here first. I must be among the first geeks to download and use this on my lowly Windows PC and boy, do I love it! It is amazing how much faster it is than MS IE is in rendering content. I would argue that it is even faster than FireFox (there, I said it, the ultimate act of treachery). The user interface looks classy and stylish in a sparse, Ikea-esque way, one that we have all grown to like of Apple. It does seem to want to read proxy settings from somewhere else, but, it could be that I am not trying it the right way. There aren’t as many add-ons as Firefox has, but, given a few weeks, I am sure this is one deficiency we will not be talking about. I wish Apple were magnanimous enough to let us mere mortals have a go at their seductive interface for Google Maps, though, as seen on an iPhone, soon in a pocket near you - I love the lollypops that land as if my magic…
Now, let’s go all the way, Steve, dear sport. Let’s cross the chasm and have MacOS on WIntel PC platform. Say, by Q4 2008? Even call it Hyena for that last laugh…
